Terms of Service
What you agree to when you use PLOCK, written to be read once rather than skipped.
1. Who we are, and what PLOCK is
PLOCK is an independent service based in Zamboanga City, Philippines. We run a booking platform: we list courts, show availability, and let you reserve a slot. We are not a court operator, a coach, a league, or a payment bank.
Your reservation is an agreement between you and the venue, not between you and PLOCK. The venue owns the court, sets its prices and hours, decides its own cancellation rules, and is responsible for the condition and safety of its premises. We pass your reservation to them and keep the record straight.
2. Accounts
You need an account to reserve a court. Browsing courts, clubs and rankings does not require one.
There are two kinds of account and they are separate on purpose. A player account has a booking history, a no-show record and, when we enable it, a rating. A venue account has courts, a day sheet and takings. One cannot be converted into the other; if you both play and run a venue, make one of each.
You must be at least 18 to hold an account. A parent or guardian may reserve on behalf of a minor, and remains responsible for that reservation. Keep your sign-in secure — anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
Give us accurate information. We may suspend or close an account that is used to impersonate somebody, to hold slots without intending to play, to harass another person, or to list a venue the holder has no authority over.
3. Reserving a court
When you reserve, we place a hold on the slot for 15 minutes. Slots are first come, first served, and the database — not our app — decides who got there first, so a hold that succeeds is genuinely yours for those minutes. If you do not complete the reservation, the hold lapses and the slot returns to everyone else.
Some venues review reservations before confirming them. Where that applies, the slot is yours once the venue confirms, and you will see the status on your booking.
4. Paying
There is no card payment on this site. Depending on the venue, you either pay at the counter when you arrive, or you transfer to the venue's own GCash or InstaPay details and send a screenshot plus the reference number so the desk can match it. We will always show you which applies before you commit.
Prices are shown in Philippine pesos and set by the venue. The amount you see on the quote — court, less any venue discount, plus the booking fee where it applies — is the amount you owe.
The booking fee
Where PLOCK collects payment, we charge a booking fee of 4% of the court total after any venue discount, with a ₱25 minimum and a ₱249 cap. It is itemised on the quote before you commit; we will not add a charge you have not already seen.
Where the venue collects payment directly, there is no booking fee — the venue has paid for that arrangement separately, and charging you as well would be charging twice for one booking.
The fee is for the booking, not for the court. If a venue cannot honour a reservation we arranged, we refund the fee.
5. Cancelling, and not turning up
Each venue sets its own cancellation window, because a court left empty at 7pm on a Saturday is a real loss to them and they are the ones who carry it. The window that applies is shown on your booking. Cancel within it and the slot is released for someone else.
Cancelling frees a slot that other people can immediately take, so a cancellation cannot be undone. Reserve again if you change your mind.
If you reserve and do not arrive, the venue may record a no-show against your account. Repeated no-shows may mean venues require confirmation before accepting your reservations. If you believe a no-show was recorded in error, write to us at support@plockclub.app and we will look at it with the venue.
Refunds of money already paid are a matter between you and the venue, since they collected it. We will help establish what was booked and what was paid.
6. Venue accounts
This section applies if you run courts on PLOCK.
You confirm you are authorised to list and manage the venue. You are responsible for keeping your hours, prices, closures and court availability accurate — the whole product depends on availability being true, and a stale calendar is worse for players than no listing at all.
Plans are arranged with a person; there is no online checkout. A plan caps capacity and marketing — how many courts you can list, discount codes, history, placement. It never gates verification, the accuracy of your availability, or how many staff you put on the counter.
If a plan lapses, nothing already live is taken away: your courts, bookings and team survive, and what stops is adding new ones. Renewal here happens by bank transfer or over GCash with a person, so a lapse routinely means somebody is out of town rather than that they have left.
Verification is not for sale. The verified badge means a person checked that the venue is real. It is the only trust signal players have, and selling it would make it mean "paid" instead.
Where you collect payment directly, the money is yours and we take no cut of it. Where we collect, we pass on the court amount less any discount, and keep the booking fee. Because there is no payment gateway, the desk may collect the whole amount including our fee — in which case the fee is owed to us and shown separately in your console, so your revenue figures and your deposits still match.
7. Clubs, sessions and ratings
Clubs and posts are created by users, and their organisers are responsible for what they publish. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, or abusive.
Open play sessions and match ratings are not enabled yet. When they are, ratings will be calculated per sport and per format, singles kept separate from doubles, and shown as provisional until enough matches are recorded. A rating is our estimate for matchmaking — it is not a qualification and we make no promise about it.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not reserve slots you do not intend to use, or resell reservations.
- Do not scrape, overload, or attempt to bypass the limits on our service.
- Do not submit false payment references or altered payment screenshots.
- Do not post reviews for a venue you have not been to, or reviews you were paid for.
- Do not attempt to access another person's account, bookings, or venue data.
9. Availability of the service
We aim to keep PLOCK running and accurate, but we provide it "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, and we are actively building it — features appear, and occasionally change or are withdrawn.
To the extent the law allows, PLOCK is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim relating to a reservation is limited to the booking fee we charged on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We are not responsible for what happens on a court. Play at your own risk, and make sure you are fit to play.
10. Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload — photos, reviews, club posts. You give us permission to host and display it for the purpose of running and promoting PLOCK. You confirm you have the right to upload it, which matters most for photographs of a venue.
11. Ending it
You can stop using PLOCK whenever you like, and ask us to close your account by writing to support@plockclub.app. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Reservations already confirmed, and money already owed, survive an account closing.
12. Changes to these terms
We will update this page when the terms change, and change the date at the top. For a change that materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use PLOCK after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes go to the courts of Zamboanga City — though we would much rather you emailed us first, and most things are resolved that way.
14. Contact
Write to support@plockclub.app. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
